And, when I ran into sizing problems Ms. Arlinda actually gave me a call to work everything out. Who does this?! All this to say her personal care and product quality are par to none. Thank you!

I was full of anticipation as I entered the skirt parlor having heard of the unique and creative designer named Arlinda and quickly understood why they call her the Fairy Skirt Mother.I was looking for her to do a custom skirt for a special event I was attending .In what seemed to me an instant she took my simple idea and transformed it into something I never imagined.The finished product was beyond beautiful,but what was more amazing was how beautiful I felt wearing it. The compliments were as flowing as the skirt. Phones ringing sewing machines going and never did it interrupt the creative flow of thoughts that ultimately became my skirt.That's a genius in my book.

Let me just say that Sofistafunk is more than a beautiful line of funky skirts. The beautiful clothing is an impression of the designer's heart....the willingness and passion to share a part of herself with the community. How do I know this and how do I have the audacity to claim it? I came across a design from Sofistafunk on FB some years back. I drove from my hometown in Cleveland, Ohio to a shop in New Jersey where her line of clothing was sold. I never expected anything other than a "thank you" from the store owner once I made my purchase. To my surprise, the manager was so impressed that I made the trip that she contacted the designer....what's more amazing is that she (Arlinda McIntosh) showed up at the shop with more of her pieces! How amazing is that!?! I felt special....that's just what her clothes has continued to do for me...make me feel special. Thanks (Arlinda.!!..AKA Fairy skirt mother)

Love the items I purchased. The AM/PM dress and Mai Lin top, just what I was looking for. Arlinda, I thank you for the conversation and the info concerning sizing. You were spot on. I am an actress who has been blessed to have Sofistafunk "covering my bottom" for years now! I have worn her looks on shows as varied as "The Talking Dead", "The Wendy Williams Show" and "Communtiy" to name a few as well as on the red carpet! I have received rave reviews each time!
