Beautiful church and sermon. The people who run the church are helpful and incredibly friendly. Very warm and open space for attendees. Grateful to have attended for the first Word of 2025.
The church is beautiful. Parking can be hectic, but there is a parking guide online with suggestions. The service, the pastor, was great. I went to get baptized there. I usually go to the Clifton branch, but I needed to go to Montclair for the baptism. I really enjoyed my experience at the Montclair Church.
I recently left a church that i was very much involved..I researched and listened to a few messages and decided to try..God sent me here to grow in my faith.."thank you god"...the message the music and the people are focused on helping us Move closer to God thru helping others.. The 5'6" hispanic teacher blows me away and the violinist sends brings me to joyful tears. Don't miss an opportunity to worship here
I started attending the church a few months ago, and here’s what I’ve observed: they don’t seem to preach against sin directly. While the sermons are motivational, and they do open the Bible and read scripture, it feels like they’re hesitant to preach the full Word of God. There are a lot of young adults in the church, including myself, as well as many young couples. If the preacher avoids addressing issues like s*x before marriage, it makes it easier for people to fall into sin. Yes, they can find guidance in the Bible, but realistically, many young adults struggle with consistently reading it. I bring this up because I’ve noticed in several sermons that the pastor seems to want to address this but stops short, almost like he’s tiptoeing around the topic. It’s happened enough times that it stands out to me and my companions. I do love the community, that’s the only issue; unfortunately it’s too big of an issue.
I miss this church soooooo much. I moved out of Jersey during the pandemic and one of the things that I miss the most is this church. This is the best church I've ever attended, and I'm a pastor's daughter so church has always been part of my life. This place is filled with love and uplifting sermons. Such a great place of worship. If you live anywhere near of any of their campuses, I HIGHLY recommend you give Christ Church a visit. Amazing worship services, phenomenal speakers, and the perfect environment to connect with God. I may be in LI now, but my heart will always be in Christ Church.
