The iced vanilla decaf latte with oat milk was smooth and delightful. The impossible burger with gluten-free bread was average. Definitely needed a better plate presentation. The side salad dressing had too much vinegar.

Stopped in for breakfast. Staff was nice and the food came out pretty fast. The place reminds me of a local diner with the standard fare. Nothing was amazing. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and my husband ordered 2 Eggs with a side of bacon (greasy). Both came with potatoes (also greasy). Portions were decent as well as the prices especially for Montclair.

What makes this place a 5-star? The friendly service with a smile. This place is very cozy and quaint. It is no wonder that it is a popular joint. I can only imagine how busy it is on the weekends. There are plenty of seating inside and about 3 to 4 tables in front. Latte art is one of the best that I have seen... as it should be or not, but I highly appreciated it. The blueberry scone was crumbly and dry, but with the help of the jam, it made it better. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended and would definitely return.

As much as I enjoy Bluestone’s food and coffee I was disappointed in the dine in experience today based off of service alone. My server was rude unfortunately from the beginning. No eye contact, no name introduction, anything. Not even a follow up if everything was okay. It was very unfortunate and hoping he was just having a bad day. Even towards the end, when asking for the check, I tried to get his attention, he looked up at me and rather than bring the check himself, he gave it to the hostess instead to bring it to me. Please note that I was friendly, all smiles, patient and truly enjoyed the food and latte. Doubt if I will dine in here again, if I do, I’ll have to request another server unfortunately.

Tasty breakfast, brunch and lunch spot.
We were a group of 4 plus 1 baby on. Sunday lunchtime and were seated right away. If you're a bigger group, then booking is recommended.
The food was all good and arrived efficiently, our server was friendly but a slow since it was v busy. They did however bring the food for the baby very quickly.
We sampled a variety of savoury and sweet dishes, of which all were good portions and won't leave you hungry.
There is seating in and outdoors and a restroom out the back.
