Contrary to what the Bynderian Floors website says, the rug we sent to them for cleaning, does not look brand new; in fact, they damaged it and refuse to take responsibility. We sent our white wool rug from Crate & Barrel to be cleaned in early August. It was five years-old from a pet-free home with no stains. It just needed a good cleaning from a home with young children. Two weeks later, they called to tell us they did not like how it came out so they would clean it again. Ten days later, they delivered the rug. It now had yellow and brown stains and smelt like it had been burned. We called to complain and they said they would take it back and try again. Three weeks later, they called us again to say they were not sure what happened and they would try to "sour" the rug to get the stains out. A week later, it was delivered back -- and although it looks better than the first time we got it back, it still has yellow spots and the texture of the rug is completely different. When we called to complain the response was - "well, we wash it, we wash it again, and then all bets are off." I asked for the owner to call me back (and emailed him directly) -- When I finally got him on the phone, his answer was "take me to court; how do I know your rug wasn't ruined before?" Given that they've had our rug for nearly two months, I'd say they had plenty of opportunity to tell us if there was anything on the rug they could not clean. This was never the case. Mistakes happen and sometimes things get damaged along the way. The lack of accountability and blaming the customer as if any of this was our fault is insulting. I recommend avoiding Bynderian and trying another company. CUSTOMER BEWARE!
More rudeness than I have ever experienced before. I agree with other reviews that the owner conveys a, “don’t give a damn” attitude. I came on the scheduled day to pick up three rugs and was told that customers are told to wait until they receive a call from them. I said, no one told me that. In response, a worker said, “are you calling me a liar?“ I responded, no one is calling you a liar I’m just telling you that I wasn’t told that information. At this point Mrs. Bynderian began to, literally, yell and scream at me in a way that would make the word hysterical seem mild. It was downright abusive. Weeks later, when I returned with more rugs after hurricane Ida (yes I actually went back) the employee saw me and immediately apologized. I admire him for that. But when I attempted to explain what occurred to Mr. Bynderian he offered nothing but annoyance and distain and flat out didn’t want to (and wouldn’t) hear any of it. I am Black and I don’t know if he treats everyone in this way but can’t imagine he does and be able to stay in business. At a time when respect, for all people, is a priority, these owners need to learn how insulting the absence of it is.
We needed to have our steps recarpeted. Reasonable price. Bill was very helpful. Had the job done within a few hours. I would use there service again.
Great experience and service. Came to my home on the same day that I called. Picked up carpets and redelivered after cleaning. Very happy
Staff and owners are extremely helpful and attentive. Very pleased, and will be sure to send them more business.
