our son LOVED his week at nature camp! he is really happy and enjoyed exploring the forest and learning about all of its inhabitants while making friends. Candace and Ray were so welcoming and understanding of kids who need a little extra time to feel comfortable in a new environment. at the end of the program our son was so confident and proud to take us on the trail their group would take. so glad we decided to sign him up for camp and that there is a nature program that also involves discovering and studying the environment a little further. looking forward to going to camps again in the future!

The staff at Dream are so wonderful and special in that they are respectful, kind and supportive of each other and the the kiddos in their care. They take the time to get to know each of the kids, and are able to recognize their special gifts and qualities. Their approach to martial arts is all about internal discipline and intrinsic rewards so there is no use of shame or bullying/manhandling/hardening of kids that often happens in some martial arts traditions and in many athletic pursuits. The Nature Camps and classes have been a huge blessing for a child who thrives in nature. He loves playing with other kids who like to get good and dirty and learn about the natural world. A great community all around!

My 7 year old son, Gordon, absolutely loved Dream Martial Arts camp. As a new family to the Montclair, we were so heartened that he'd come home saying "this is the best camp in the world!" He made friends quickly and loved all the programmed activities and the time in nature.

My son, age 8, did a week of Dream camp this summer and had an amazing time! They were out in the woods all day. He learned a lot, made a good friend, and really enjoyed the counselors. He had never really done martial arts before and they sparked his interest in it without being overbearing. We would definitely do another program with Dream!

Dream Martial Arts has been great for my son, especially during the quarantine! The classes are never the same. Mr. Emilio knows the name of every single student. He's very good at motivating kids of all ages. Listening to my son interact with Emilio's Zoom classes during the quarantine brings a smile to my face every time. A great mood stabilizer for kids and parents.
