The team at this store is amazing. Customer service was 110%. On top of that, the store was clean and organized. Pleasant Urban Outfitters to shop at. Highly recommend going to this one. Lots of items in stock. They even helped me find an item I was searching for. Thank you Montclair Urban!
People need to be aware they WILL be followed if they enter the store, I experienced walking in being warmly greeted just to be spied on in the second floor, at first I did not think much of it but I out of no where to tall young men surrounded me as I was looking at the rack and I know they worked there because one had a UO lanyard sticking out of his pocket and the other had an earpiece not a bluetooth or for music but like a literal work earpiece, I thought maybe I'm way over my head thinking they wore following me so I shrugged it off, I then made my way to the vinyl records selection and the young lady who worked in the fitting room could not stop staring at me like eyes planted on me again I shrugged it off maybe she was bored...idk. So when I went to make my purchase the young lady who greeted me downstairs rang me up, and as she did she alerted the people upstairs that I black woman was heading their way, Immediately knew they did profile people there and they did profile me, when they saw I WAS PAYING, they went on TO THE NEXT NON-WHITE customer who was in their store...bottom Line they will follow you they will profile you so be careful when you enter.

Horrible! Bought a gift card for my wife 7 days ago. Went to return it because she didn't want it. Employee and manager both said it's an internal policy that they don't take gift cards back. Receipt doesn't exclude gift card returns(see picture). Walked down the street to Anthropologie to return the other gift card I got her and they took it back without an issue. Urban outfitters looked like an outlet store and were in the midst of unwrapping displays in the middle of the floor. The manager with the bad blonde dye job was rude and dismissive. Unfortunately, I'm stuck with a gift card to a store I don't shop. Guess I'll be giving it to someone else.
The staff are always friendly, they greet you upon walk in. That's a reflection of good management. So whoever has that in place, good job! Cool store, great location, good urban youthful clothing. I only visit for the home section, which they don't have a huge selection for. With the space they have, and the area it's located in. The company should really invest in stocking up more home products. Book, bedding, cool tech, dishware, pillows, curtains, wall decor etc.
