I was in Montclair trying to find an outfit for a gig I had later in the day. All the associates were so beyond helpful, gave me amazing feedback and were able to help me find 3 perfect outfits for my show! Will 100% be coming back again to shop. Everyone was so nice and friendly plus the store was sooooo clean!
When I walked in I was happily greeted by an employee, and had a wonderful overall shopping experience. Help was always near when I had a question about an article of clothing. The store was also very clean and tidy!
Urban Outfitters Montclair I had a disappointing experience at Urban Outfitters recently. As soon as we walked through the entrance, the alarm went off, which was both confusing and embarrassing. Instead of immediately addressing the issue with professionalism, the associate insisted that we walk back through the alarm system, as if we were trying to steal something. It was uncomfortable to be treated this way, especially since the situation seemed to stem from a technical error rather than any wrongdoing on our part. The whole process was poorly handled, and there was no real effort made to apologize or reassure us. I’d recommend Urban Outfitters look into updating their alarm systems and training their staff to manage these situations with more tact and respect for their customers. This experience left a bad taste, and I’m hesitant to shop there again.
The team at this store is amazing. Customer service was 110%. On top of that, the store was clean and organized. Pleasant Urban Outfitters to shop at. Highly recommend going to this one. Lots of items in stock. They even helped me find an item I was searching for. Thank you Montclair Urban!
I just left Urban Outfitters in Montclair, NJ, Bloomfield Avenue. Let’s just say they tried to profiled us, two women. I was looking for a turtleneck because, I wanted to layer my clothing which was not warm enough so that I can go walking in the City. Nothing was to my liking, but I did purchase some Facial products. The cashier rubbed the three face mask against the counter vigorously and the make up remover package, I assume she was deactivating the sensor, but No, before my feet hit the alarm gates, another women in a white sweater came running and stopped short, then I stepped into the sensor gates and alarms started ringing, she, the white sweater came over towards us, my daughter and I, the cashier was off the register and also at the gates saying it’s the beauty sensors..: and white sweater said, can I have your bag, I will take care of it and I said yes, you are clearly ready and standing here. She took the bags and came back and the alarms continued to ring, but she said it’s ok, you guys can go. We left the store. Question if the counter is for deactivating the sensor why doesn’t it work with all the rubbing she was doing and then again the second time? And what happens to the credit cards and other magnetic items when it comes into contact with the counter Urban?
